North Star Training was established to support organisations working with children and young people to strengthen safeguarding culture through adult awareness, early identification and confident response.
Our approach is calm, trauma-informed and grounded in professional safeguarding practice.
We support adults to recognise early indicators of exploitation, respond appropriately and follow clear safeguarding procedures. By increasing adult awareness, organisations are better placed to act early and protect young people from harm.

Safeguarding information should be clear, accessible and easy to understand.

We use calm, sensitive language that avoids fear-based or alarmist messaging.

We use calm, sensitive language that avoids fear-based or alarmist messaging.
We work in partnership with schools, trusts and organisations, delivering training that complements existing safeguarding arrangements.
Training is delivered in-person across England or online, and always operates within the commissioning organisation’s safeguarding procedures.
North Star Training operates in line with statutory safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Safeguarding responsibility remains with the commissioning organisation at all times.
